As reported on their official Medium account, TRON has entered into a strategic partnership with intelligent bathroom provider Moshroom that culminates in the creation of blockchain-powered lavatories.

There is obviously more to the story than meets the eye. Blockchain in this example is used to give infrastructure for micro-payments, to cover the usage of these bathrooms. So as a partner, Moshroom will offer the bathroom and TRON will supply the blockchain.

Both are fixing some of the most difficult problems for most of the developing nations. In most of the nations, people don’t have easy access to safe and clean areas to, err, do their own work. The new venture intends to offer you that at a price tag.

TRON and Moshroom will be targeting Southeast Asia and India first using this new technology, where useage and obligations of the bathrooms will be supported via using blockchain. As per reports from our private sources, there are public toilets in India which charges Rs. 1 ($0.015), but they aren’t clean and many people don’t prefer using them because there are no strict rules regarding doing the work in public roads or walls.

While the statement does not explicitly mention if the bathroom integration will encourage TRX obligations (or some other cryptocurrencies for that matter), the announcement does indicate that the planned use case is to get micro-transactions.

Moshroom are famous for their eco-friendly portable toilet alternatives, which may be deployed everywhere and function completely off grid. By supplying the blockchain to Moshroom, TRON is enabling them to get their payments to develop infrastructure and keep the cities clean.

Earlier we also reported about a partnership between the popular Chinese voice content community, Peiwo and TRON. It seems like a coin which was called a “SHIT coin” by people is now actually implementing things using the its blockchain and solving real world problems.
