Michael Rodriguez, the CTO of all Lite.IM, spoke concerning the release of Lite.IM on Facebook messenger at the Litecoin summit in San Francisco this year. Rodriguez said:

“It is pretty huge as the very first crypto on Facebook is Litecoin, and this opens the doorway to a consumer base of around 2 million people all over the world. It’s also the start for us as we’ve got big plans in store”

Rodriguez verified they’ve taken extra security so that third parties do not get access to those users’ passwords. He said that the primary agenda was to bring Litecoin to the individuals who do not have access to it by regular means.

Rodriguez added:

“Our ecosystem empowers banking empowerment to the whole world, linking every network, such as phone numbers through SMS and shortly USSD, and also to individuals with limited access to the world wide web or technology.”

Connecting people in countries makes it more easy to send Litecoin, he opined. According to Rodriguez, this is far much better than understanding someone’s Litecoin speech, which can be ‘awkward.’ Even the Lite.IM has plans to soon enable invoices, which will make accepting payments for retailers easier.

Lite.IM is the very first crypto pocket to be introduced on Facebook messenger, which was implemented following the approval from Facebook authorities.

Zulu Republic, the company behind Lite.IM, has voiced plans to support social networking platforms. Zulu is pushing Litecoin adoption, rather than waiting for customers to leave platforms that they are knowledgeable about.

Lite.IM doesn’t control consumers’ private keys, thus giving the user full control of their own funds. This leads to the combined benefits of a centralized system, for example interoperability alongside a user-centric wallet.
