These days, people just can’t seem to stop talking about the crypto exchange Binance. With its charismatic founder Changpeng Zhao — more commonly known as “CZ” —at the helm, it feels as if anything is possible. Just this weekend, the newest token to be listed on the exchange, Contentos (COS) was surging. Poised to revolutionize the way in which content creators receive compensation for online content, COS is just as revolutionary as the rest of the offerings featured on Binance. With all of this recent success, perhaps it shouldn’t come as a surprise that Binance has embarked on a bold charitable initiative.

All around the world, women in poverty struggle with their monthly cycles. With a new token called Pink Care, Binance is fighting to alleviate this struggle. Also known as a PCAT token, eventually this offering would allow women to redeem it for a full year’s worth of feminine care supplies. While many traditional charities are shadowy about what they do when they receive donations, PCAT will be quite the opposite. Once someone acquires a token, it will allow that person to track it — and ensure that it actually went to a woman for the purposes intended.

But CZ doesn’t want to just stop there; he’s been very vocal about his quest to assist these women in developing countries, which is why he has posted about the initiative on social media. Singling out other leaders in the crypto space, the Binance chief has made it clear that he considers this new initiative a true opportunity for growth and contribution. With so many women struggling worldwide, PCAT seems destined to win even more praise and to do good all around the planet. For women in blockchain tech especially, it’s a clear sign that Binance cares about women’s welfare around the globe.
