A large cryptocurrency ATM network in Switzerland is now offering support for Bitcoin Cash (BCH) to its customers. Värdex Suisse will offer the crypto asset in addition to three other forms of digital currencies as a way to make it easier to trade the popular cryptocurrency.

According to Bitcoin.com’s report, BCH joins Bitcoin Core (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Litecoin (LTC) as cryptocurrencies that customers can purchase or sell at the ATMs. The announcement arrived just recently from Vardex Suisse which offers ATMs in major Swiss cities including Basel, Bern, Geneva, Lucerne, and Zurich.

Vardex Suisse AG was originally founded under the name Bitcoin Suisse AG. The company began operating independently as of 2017. The company noted they have a mission to make the purchase and sale of digital currencies “seamless and easy” just like visiting a “bank ATM.” In addition to belonging to the Crypto Valley Zug Community, Vardex Suisse AG is also a member of Financial Services Standards Association (VQF).

A tracker website called Coinatmradar shows that there are 52 bitcoin ATMs and crypto tellers operating at the moment in different parts of Switzerland. Approximately half of those ATMs support Bitcoin Cash purchases or sales. There are nearly 350 devices across Europe which support Bitcoin Cash. Meanwhile, the United States has nearly 1,200 ATMs which offer support for Bitcoin Cash.

Bitcoin Cash has been in existence since 2017 as a hard-fork split from Bitcoin. There was also a Bitcoin Cash hard-fork chain split that occurred in November 2018, resulting in Bitcoin Cash ABC and Bitcoin SV. Most people trade the current BCH product on different exchanges such as Coinbase, Bittrex, or Gemini. A variety of payment service providers also offer support for the cryptocurrency including BitPay, Coinify, and GoCoin.

As of this report, the latest price for Bitcoin Cash (BCH) was $151.76 via the Coinbase exchange. The crypto asset was down over three percent in its latest 24-hour trading session.
