The researchers also examined the link between how long a person had bitcoin and how comfortable they were using it. Seventy-three percent of the respondents had used bitcoin a few times over the past year.
Twenty percent of people stated that they had an issue that prevented them from successfully making a transaction. Six percent of people said that they had been a victim of a scam while trying to use cryptocurrency. The man in the middle attacks are a common method that scammers use to steal cryptocurrency.
FIO has put a system in place to prevent people from being scammed. However, there is always a way for someone to game the system. Additionally, over half of people who have tried to send a crypto payment encountered some sort of problem.
Only 11 percent of people in the study used crypocurrency on a regular basis. One of the reasons that people choose other payment methods is because of the ease of use. David Gold is a businessman. He stated that things need to change, or people will not be using cryptocurrency.
David said that sending cryptocurrency has to be easier and safer than it is today. One of the reasons that people choose a service like PayPal is because it only takes a few minutes to send the money, and it is an easy process. FIO is striving to make it easier for people to send and receive payments. They are also trying to make the payments more secure.
